AUO 8.4-inch G084SN05 V9, G084SN03 V3 LCD screen product upgrade notice.
To continuously optimize product performance and enhance customer experience, AU Optronics (AUO) will upgrade its 8.4-inch LCD screen G084SN05 V9 and G084SN03 V3 product lines. We hereby officially announce that the G084SN05 V9 and G084SN03 V3 models will be gradually discontinued from Q4 2024 and will be fully replaced by the newly upgraded model G084SAN01.0. The following is the specific upgrade plan and product information. Please plan your procurement and production arrangements in advance.
1. Product Change Description
1. Discontinued model G084SN05 V9: The current standard version supports industrial grade wide temperature and high brightness (500cd/m ²). G084SN03 V3： Economic version, suitable for basic display requirements. The deadline for receiving the final order is October 31, 2024. Inventory clearance period: Complete the delivery of old models before December 31, 2024.
2. Alternative model G084SAN01.0: Integrated with next-generation display technology, compatible with old model interfaces (Pin to Pin compatible), and fully optimized in the following aspects: performance improvement: brightness of 450cd/m ², contrast ratio increased to 1000:1, support for wide temperature range (-30 ℃~85 ℃). Energy efficiency optimization: Reduce power consumption by 15% and extend device battery life. Function extension: Optional capacitive touch (CTP) or resistive touch (RTP), supporting AG/AR/AF surface treatment process. Reliability Enhancement: Through industrial grade vibration and impact testing, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) has been increased to 80000 hours.
