AUO G156HAN04.0 vs G156HAN04.1: 15.6-inch LCD Selection Guide
Compare AUO G156HAN04 0 and G156HAN04 1 by brightness, operating temperature and driver clearance Check the 12 V versus 24 V backlight supply and connector before choosing a replacement
The AUO G156HAN04.0 and G156HAN04.1 are both 15.6-inch FHD displays with 30-pin dual-channel LVDS inputs. Choose the G156HAN04.0 if the existing design uses a 12 V backlight supply and its 1000 cd/m² typical brightness meets the application requirements. Evaluate the G156HAN04.1 if the application benefits from 1500 cd/m² and the enclosure can accommodate its 24 V backlight supply, 14-pin harness and thicker driver assembly.

Which model fits your equipment?
For an existing 12 V design, start with the G156HAN04.0 and verify the exact model and harness. If your application depends on the upper end of its operating range, check the temperature measurement point and thermal conditions in the manufacturer’s specification.
For higher brightness, evaluate the G156HAN04.1. Confirm that the power system can provide the separate 24 V backlight supply and that the enclosure has room for the driver and cable bend. Evaluate readability with the actual cover glass, viewing position and ambient lighting.
Can I reuse the existing cables?
Check the signal and backlight cables separately. Both panels use a 30-pin LVDS signal connector, but you should verify the signal pinout and data mapping for the exact revision. The backlight supply voltage and connector differ, so plan for the correct power supply and harness before powering on a sample. Also compare the enable and PWM signals, mounting points and rear clearance.
